BACKGROUND
What are the System and Reports based on?
The EI Profile is a psychometric, cognitive and skills based Profiling System. The System produces profiles and reports based on personalised responses to a substantive Questionnaire. It is under-pinned by a cluster of proven evidence-based theories, research, data and insights. The EI Profile intersects between Psychology, Professional Coaching, Business, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Behavioural Economics. The EI Profile draws from Personality Trait Theory, Strengths Based Practice, Motivation and Jungian Analytical Psychology theory as well as Entrepreneurship and Innovation Theory and Practice. Thousands of hours of insights and data from the research, interviews and in-depth coaching sessions of innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, professionals, creatives, business owners, technical experts and independent workers from multiple countries across rural, regional and urban areas contributed to it's development and design. Qualitative and quantitative research analysis of business, start-up, innovation, and independent work success data was also utilised.
How long will it take?
The time will vary depending upon responses you give to the questions but it generally takes between 30 to 45 minutes to complete the System. This includes mind-setting and preparation. The EI Profiling System is interactive with questions unlocked and populated based on responses given so not everyone will answer the same combination of questions in the same order. You only need to complete the EI Profile once and can generate either a Standard or Comprehensive Report from this session. The additional Team Questionnaire component of the System is 10 minutes per Team member.
How did the Idea start?
The EI Profile was developed to help ‘reduce the pain’ of establishing new ventures, products and projects as well as increase success rates and improve wellbeing in modern business and work. It aims to de-mystify the entrepreneurial journey and process of innovation as well as the mindsets, motivations and behaviours of innovators, founders and founding teams. It provides a common language to accelerate and improve the establishment of a new venture, product or business unit. The EI Profile contains the information needed to ensure we create lasting value and utilise our unique and natural talents to accomplish things we are truly proud of. The reality is many people aren't engaged, productive or realising their potential. We all need some guidance and structure to liberate us out of this so we can create, build and improve in ways that are valued and valuable.
Is there a Free version of the EI Profiling System?
No. The EI Profiling System does not currently have a Free version. Many free quizzes make money from selling your data something we won't do. The EI Profiling System is very different to a free online quiz with each section of the system playing a vital role in determining your Profile and Reports and educating you on modern business and innovation. From time to time we may provide access on the EI profile website to a mini-quiz or free mini-test. These are in no way representative of the results you will receive in your comprehensive reports.
How does it work?
Once you have selected and purchased which report you would like you will be sent a confidential unique link to the EI Profile System. To begin you will be asked a series of registration questions. You will then move to a Mind-setting area which ensures your results aren't influenced by distractions. You will then begin a series of Questions about your natural preferences and tendencies, previous experiences and knowledge. Based on your answers the System populates the next subset of Questions and so-on until your profile is determined. You will be presented with information to help you with your answers in some subsets. Question styles vary intentionally. Some questions will ask you to choose between two options, others are multiple choice, sliding scales and rankings. Once you have finished your Profile and Unique Report is immediately generated.
How do I get my report?
As soon as the Questionnaire is completed your report is generated. If you misplace your report you can use the confidential link in your original confirmation email to download the report.
How will I benefit from the System, Profile and My Report?
The report provides you with a framework for being successful in a modern world of business and independent work. It will educate and inform you on how enduring value is created throughout the various stages and passes of business, entrepreneurship and innovation and clearly identify your best fit or position of strength within the start-up, scale and establishment of businesses and projects. It will highlight areas for improvement and help you better appreciate what can de-rail your success as well as introduce you to other profiles, the value they add and how to collaborate with ease. It you haven't been as successful as you'd like in the past you will gain insights as to why this may be the case as well as how your Profile can be most productive, engaged and reach your potential in a modern world.

What happens if I lose my report?
Your information will be stored in a secure database for your use only. You can retrieve your Reports using the unique links sent with your confirmation emails so be sure to keep these.
Can I share my results?
Yes. Results are owned by you and can only be shared by you. If you are part of a new or existing team and would like to generate a Team Profile and Team Report some of your results will be merged with your team-mates results to populate some sections to highlight strengths and gaps in the team. This can only happen with your participation in the Team Section of the EI Profile System.
What if I don’t agree with the results?
Occasionally someone will disagree with the Profile they receive. Profiles can only be generated based on the answers you give. It is important to answer the questions in a relaxed frame of mind, openly and honestly. If you do this your Profile will be accurate. It may take time to accept the results if you're uncertain and it’s important to remember that each of us is the best expert on ourselves. Get to know the other profiles and if another one feels better go with that one, ultimately you decide whether your answers were a true reflection of yourself or not.
What if a new version of the Report is released?
Your Reports will identify the version you have completed. Changes made to the System will only ever be incremental or subtle and will not change Profile outcomes. New or additional team members added to an existing Team Profile will complete the version of the Team Report taken initially to ensure accurate integration and report generation.
Are the Reports Confidential?
Yes, absolutely. The Standard Report and Comprehensive Report are completely confidential and only ever shared by you. The Team Report is completely confidential also between team members and only ever shared by your team.
How many Profiles are there?
There are 12 Entrepreneurship and Innovation Profiles. Each of us has a unique combination of factors that make us suited to our Profile.
What are the Profile Families?
There are 4 EI Profile Families [EIP-F] with 3 Profiles within each family who share similar characteristics and traits but also contribute in different ways and at different stages of modern business and independent work.
How do I use my Profile?
Your Report will outline how you can utilise your Profile to make great business and work decisions, identify where you add the most value and how to engage and be part of creating, scaling, building and establishing great businesses, products and projects. It will also show you which roles you're not suited to and explain why.
How do I create a Team Profile?
Once each Team Member has completed and received their Comprehensive Report they are ready to purchase and complete the Team area of the EI Profile System which utilises this new information and answers gathered from the Comprehensive Reports to generate a Team Profile and Team Report for each team member. One team member is chosen to register the team members and purchase their reports on the teams behalf. All team members are then sent confidential links in confirmation emails that they use to access the Team Area. The team profile questionnaire takes approximately 15 minutes to complete are confidential and Team Reports are generated immediately after the last team member completes this section.
